0,81 €[SPA] El trabajo presenta una lectura comparativa entre la novela Don Quijote de La Mancha (1605/ 1615), del escritor español Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra (1547-1616) y el cuento «Tarantão, meu patrão», presente en la obra Primeras estórias (1962), del autor brasileño João Guimarães Rosa (1908-1967). Tras el estudio de las categorías de héroes presentadas por la crítica en una investigación histórico-artística, según la formulación del filósofo húngaro Georg Lukács (1885-1971) a propósito del héroe demoníaco del idealismo abstracto, se buscará investigar las posibles relaciones existentes entre los héroes plasmados en ambas narrativas y se realizará un estudio paralelo entre el visionario Don Quijote y el excéntrico Iô João-de-Barros-Diniz-Robertes ?caballeros inadaptados a la realidad en una especie de locura lúcida?, con la finalidad de mostrar las resonancias quijotescas en el caballero rosiano por medio de un estudio que revela aproximaciones y contrastes. Además de las comparaciones e interpretaciones contextualizadas por las obras narrativas, se busca descubrir posibles correspondencias e influencias entre las dos obras literarias, que a pesar de que se distancian en género, tiempo y espacio, se relacionan y se identifican en aspectos universales a partir de la figura que ilumina la narrativa: el héroe.

[POR] O presente trabalho apresenta uma leitura comparativista entre o romance Dom Quixote de La Mancha (1605/1615), do escritor espanhol Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra (1547-1616) e o conto «Tarantão, meu patrão», presente na obra Primeiras estórias (1962), do autor brasileiro João Guimarães Rosa (1908-1967). Após o estudo das categorias de heróis apresentadas pela crítica em uma abordagem histórico-artística, enfatizando-se a formulação do filósofo húngaro Georg Lukács (1885-1971) acerca do herói demoníaco do idealismo abstrato, procurar-se-á investigar as possíveis relações existentes entre os heróis plasmados nas narrativas traçando um paralelo entre estes: o visionário Dom Quixote e o excêntrico Iô João-de-Barros-Diniz-Robertes ?cavaleiros inadaptados ao real em uma espécie de loucura lúcida?, a fim de mostrar as ressonâncias quixotescas no cavaleiro rosiano, por meio de uma análise que revela aproximações e contrastes. Além das comparações e interpretações contextualizadas pelas narrativas, busca-se verificar possíveis correspondências e influências entre as duas obras literárias, que apesar de distanciarem-se em gênero, tempo e espaço, se estreitam e se identificam em aspectos universais da Literatura, a partir da figura que ilumina a narrativa: o herói.

[ENG] The present paper presents a comparative reading between the novel Don Quixote de La Mancha (1605/1615), by the Spanish writer Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra (1547-1616) and the short story «Tarantão, meu patrão», presents in the book Primeiras estórias (1962), by the Brazilian author João Guimarães Rosa (1908-1967). After the study of the categories of heroes presented by critics in a historical-artistic approach, emphasizing the formulation of the Hungarian philosopher Georg Lukács (1885-1971) about the demonic hero of the abstract idealism, it will investigate the possible relationship between the heroes fashioned in the narratives tracing a parallel between these characters: the visionary Don Quixote and the eccentric Iô João-de-Barros-Diniz-Robertes ? Knights unfit to the real in a kind of lucid madness ? in order to show quixotic resonances of the rosiano Knight, through an analysis that reveals approximations and contrasts. Besides the comparisons and interpretations contextualized by the narratives, we seek to verify possible matches and influences between the two literary works, which despite being distant in genre, time and space, get closer and identify to each other in universal aspects of literature, from the figure that lights the narrative: the hero.
